Final 2D Animation Project - INXS Music Video

Final Project Storyboards and Treatment

Treatment:
For my final animation project, I have decided to base my animation project off of a music video for the song "I need you tonight" by INXS. I have chosen this song because it's fun and I believe it will fit in well with the animation I plan to incorporate into it. The original video for the song uses unique editing techniques that will help inspire me to create unique animations to incorporate into my video. Some of these animations will include floating instruments made up of scanned collage images, such as the guitar and the keyboard. I will also use parenting to move the characters arms and legs in the video so that they will appear as if they are dancing and playing their instruments. I will also use an animated mouth during the close-up shots of the lead singer singing the lyrics. Finally, the entire video will be not contain any cuts, but will pan to each new scene instead, so that the entire video will be edited in one continuous movement.
